Introduction

Since its creation, ACA has been active in programme management activities as well as in project work. ACA projects take many forms, such as studies, reviews, reports, conferences and seminars, in a wide range of thematic areas in international higher education cooperation.

ACA projects are of two types. The first category is "ACA-driven", and results in projects which the Association has devised itself, because it sees a particular need for research or advocacy in a given field. These projects are self-financed. The second category of projects constitutes services ACA provides to third parties, such as the European Union, and other relevant donors. Such projects ACA conducts on a paid basis.
