Introduction

Since its creation, ACA has organised seminars and conferences. ACA is a network, and regular meetings, topped up with some "intellectual food", are an essential part of its networking activities. This has been the reason why so far most events have been organised at reduced scale and mainly involved ACA members and sister organisations.

This tradition is now taking a new dimension: ACA has committed itself to organising several seminars and major international conferences per year, targeted to a public that includes but goes far beyond its own membership base.

ACA events deal with topics that are high on the agenda of internationalisation in education and training, such as recent developments in European policy, internationalisation at home and the role of networks and networking in the Bologna Process.
