EDULINK: second call for proposals

The Edulink Programme is designed to foster co-operation in the field of higher education between the European Union and the countries of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP States). More specifically, the objective of the programme is to promote regional and multilateral networking between higher education institutions in the regions for mutual interest.

This call for proposal seeks a harmonised approach for the implementation of the European Commission funded programmes in the ACP Group of States with a view to improving the effectiveness, management, visibility and hence the impact of ACP-EU cooperation in the field of higher education. The call for proposal looks to:

  • foster capacity building and regional integration in the field of higher education through institutional networking between HEIs based in the ACP Group of States and the HEIs in the 15 EU Member States eligible for the programme;
  • support a higher education system of quality that is efficient and relevant to the needs of the labour market, and consistent with ACP socio-economic development priorities.

Budget: 9 000 000 Euro

Deadline for application: 2 October 2007
