New Central Asian University

With financing from Aga Khan, a Central Asian University with campuses in Tadszjikistan, Kazakhstan and Kirgizistan  is now in a planning phase.  It is scheduled to open by 2011.  With the kind of academic labour surplus in for example Kirgizistan (90% graduates out of work) the founders still believe that they can draw students by making the campuses regionally relevant.
