Expanding Higher Education in Saudi Arabia

King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia plans to open twelve new universities in the coming years.  He allocates an additional US$ 2,2 billion to strengthen Higher Education. Furthermore, the country  is currently working on a 25 year plan for Higher Education to also strengthen international student exchange and co-operation.
